Kerry Beaumont conducts the choirs of Coventry Cathedral, England, and he was previously Director of Music at Ripon Cathedral (North Yorkshire) and St. Davids Cathedral (Wales).

As an organist he has played recitals internationally, most recently in Canada, the U.S.A. and Germany. Improvisation, which he studied under Pierre Cochereau (Nice, France) and Antoine Reboulot (Montreal), often features in his concerts.

Mr Beaumont's church music is published by Encore Publications, Kirklees Music, Hope Publishing and Banks Music Publications. His most recent commissions have been for school orchestras, chamber groups and choirs. Having resided in Canada 1970-1975 he has been a member of SOCAN (Society of Canadian composers, authors & publishers) since 1978 when his commercial instrumental compositions were first published by Parry Music (Toronto). Since then he has composed extensively for Omnimusic Library of New York.
